What is TISC?
The Trommel Indoor Soccer Cup is an annually returning, 3-day international indoor soccer (futsal) tournament. This tournament is organized by v.v. Drienerlo, the football club of the University of Twente. Different teams from all over the world will participate in this tournament. Last year we had the honor to welcome teams from the Republic of Moldavia, Russia, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Sweden, France, Hungary and of course the Netherlands. The tournament is known for the great combination of fun, enjoyment, fair-play and great competitive soccer. During the tournament, every team will play the same amount of games. The matches will start on Saturday and the final will be on Sunday around 4 pm. The matches will be played on a field of 20 x 40 meters, according to the Dutch indoor soccer (futsal) rules and will be led by an official referee. A team consists of a keeper and 4 players. To complete the festivities a party will be held on Saturday for all the participants.

When does TISC take place?
The 19th edition of TISC will be held during the weekend of Friday the 16th, Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of December 2011.

Where will TISC be held?
The tournament will be played in the Sports centre on the campus at the University of Twente in Enschede, The Netherlands. The campus is an ideal place for a tournament. There are a lot of facilities situated nearby, such as the sports centre where the games will be played and drinks and snacks will be served, the Bastille which has a restaurant and the Vestingbar,a pub that stays open until all the guests are gone.
