English InformationWelcome! You have reached the English section of v.v. Drienerlo's website. Here you can find all the necessary information you need regarding the only student football club located on the University of Twente campus. V.V. Drienerlo was established just a few years after the inception of the University of Twente and will celebrate its 50th birthday in a few years time. It is the only student football club in Enschede and is available to students and staff of the University and students from Saxion Hogeschool Enschede (although in some cases non-students or non-university staff will be able to play here as well). Currently, the club consists of approximately 400 members, divided over 8 outdoor teams - two ladies' and six men's teams - five indoor teams and dozens of smaller teams playing against each other (both indoors and outdoors) in a competition hosted by Drienerlo itself. So, which team is the right one for you? If you are skilled and up for it, you can choose to play in one of our selection teams. The first outdoor men's teams plays in the 2nd Amateur League, the first ladies' team plays in the 3rd Amateur League and the first indoor team plays in the 1st Division. If you're just in it for fun, we have teams available suitable for all levels that will make sure you have a great time at Drienerlo! For further information in this regard, contact voetbal@vvdrienerlo.nl. Other than simply playing football at Drienerlo, it's great fun to participate in committees. For example, you can organise (international) tournaments and activities, or aid the board by participating in the sponsoring or PR-committee. If you're interested, email the chairman (voorzitter@vvdrienerlo.nl) to see whether there are any vacancies that suit your wishes. Become a member Becoming a member at Drienerlo is fairly easy. First, if you haven't already contacted a current Drienerlo-member concerning which team you would like to play in, send an email to voetbal@vvdrienerlo.nl. He or she will inform you which team is most suitable to you. Then, sign up by filling out the membership form and the authorization form (for payment of membership fees) and put them in our postbox in the Sportcentre's entrance hall. If you encounter any problems in this regard, contact our Secretary (secretaries@vvdrienerlo.nl).
IMPORTANT! You can only play at v.v. Drienerlo if you have an Xtra-Card. This card provides access to a number of facilities, such as the university's sports facilities.
